Top
Need to find a hardtop. Check if John wants to sell me my busted old one. We just need it to work, not be pretty.
Need to completely tear out the soft top and see if it's sellable.
Sound Deadening
How much of this sort of thing are we allowed to remove? Need to scrutinize rules...
Blower Box
Need to find a non-A/C box and swap it into the dash.
Radio
Need to remove the radio, speakers, and any wiring therein.
A/C
Check for any other remnants of the A/C system that need removing.
Airbag
Check for and remove the airbag battery from under the dash. Remove the sensors from both fenders and the front of the car, and as much wiring as possible.
Belts
Are belts worth doing? Are they lighter than the stock belts?
Legality of harness bar? I remember there being some language about it. Something about definitely not serving any structural purpose.
Seats
Need to find a nice comfy light main seat, and then a very light and uncomfortable passenger seat.
Gauges
Should probably pick up the same panel I used on the KLiata, and then put a 30psi vacuum/boost gauge, an oil pressure gauge, and a water temp gauge in it.
Steering Wheel
Car comes with some quick remove wheel. No idea what it is yet or if there's weight savings going to some other wheel... Need to see if the horn still works.
Windows
Currently has power windows. Need to find a set of manual windows to swap in. Hannah makes a good point that this may require also changing the inside door panel to get a hole for the levers. This in theory saves 4 lbs.
