Car Weight
After pulling the soft top, both seats, the A/C blower box, and a little of the carpeting (the rear deck), the car is at 1998 lbs. With the wheel difference (1.9 lbs per corner between the street wheels on it and the race setup I have) to the final weight, we're sitting at 2006 + seats, with a fair bit left to remove and a bunch left to add. At least we're in the ballpark.
To Remove
Quick list to follow of stuff to remove short-term:
- Remove speakers
- Remove speaker wiring from body/dash harness
- Remove airbag wiring from body/dash harness
- Remove airbag computer + battery from under dash
- Remove airbag sensors from fenders (confirmed they're still there)
- Remove fender liners
Things to Remember
92-93 cars have heavier doors than 90-91.
