Solo Rules
The braking system is completely unrestricted with the exception that we are required to maintain a functional emergency brake.
ABS
The car is equipped with the stock 90-00 3-channel ABS system.
01+ System
There is a better system that came in the 01+ cars, which isn't drop-in, but doesn't require a great deal of rewiring. Here's my thread from miata.net about it.
Bosch
Bosch apparently makes a kickass 4-channel customizable system that costs 6000$. Here's some info about it. :)
Proportioning Valve
Should we get one of these? I can probably just steal the one off the KLiata if we want it, and put that back to fully stock brake proportioning.
Pads
Currently Stock. I liked the AX-6 pads a lot for autocross, but they dust like holy freaking hell and squeal a fair bit when cold. Waiting on this until we figure out Wilwood options.
Calipers
Currently Stock. We need to explore the Wilwood brakes. We are required to retain an emergency brake, so keep that in mind with a rear caliper change.
Rotors
Currently Stock. We need to explore the Wilwood brakes.
Lines
Currently Stock. Should replace with SS lines.
