Suspension
Section 16.1.E of the Solo rules states:
"Suspension components are unrestricted as long as they use the original attachment points. For the purposes of this rule, “suspension” is defined as any item that is designed to move when a wheel is deflected vertically. This includes shocks and struts, control arms, steering knuckles, uprights, etc., but not tie rods, steering racks, and subframes. In addition, shock absorber/strut upper mounts are to be considered suspension components."
This allows the use of fully custom uprights and A-arms.
Kinematics
The kinematic design of the suspension will be treated as a small iteration from the stock Miata. The goal here is to lower the CG and increase track width slightly, while not creating other problems with other properties such as roll centers and camber gain.
